Stewart Dick, BSc., FCILT
After obtaining a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Stewart worked in the aircraft industry for 4 years before joining British Rail, initially working in research.
This was followed by planning posts in the rail businesses before becoming Management Services Manager working on resource management and organisational issues.
From 1989 he was Project Manager for a number of major organisational changes culminating in setting up the Railtrack Zone in Scotland. For Railtrack his principal areas of responsibility were infrastructure strategy, asset management and environmental issues.
Since 1997 he has been a Rail Transport Consultant mainly engaged on the setting up of new LRT systems abroad and asset management projects in the UK. Stewart is currently the Treasurer of the Scottish Region.
