Robert M. Armstrong, FCILT
Bob joined the United Glass Group in the early 1970s and during a subsequently long career with them held increasingly senior managerial posts in production, personnel and distribution management.
In April 1989 Bob joined the Freight Transport Association as Regional Director for Scotland and Northern Ireland and was responsible for the management of the whole range of the Association activities within that geographical area. In October 1993 Bob was promoted to Executive Director - Regions. In 2005 he joined MRS Disribution Ltd. where he is Head of Human Resouces.
He was a member of the National Transport Forum for Scotland and is a former Chairman of the CBI Scotland Transport and Communications Committee.
