About the Faculties
The four Faculties, Resources, Supply-Chain, Technology and Transport, provide members with a community for like minded professionals. Each Faculty also has a number of Forums that are appropriate to the discipline within which they fall. Institute members can choose their primary Faculty and the forums which they wish to join.
The Transport Faculty covers all modes of moving people and freight. The Technology Faculty covers the application of technology to all aspects of logistics and transport. The Supply-Chain Faculty covers all aspects of the supply-chain and the Resources Faculty covers the provision and use of resources in both the logistics and transport centres.
There is a degree of "overlap" between the Faculties and joint events are often arranged.
