Scottish Region Website gets makeover.
The Institute's Scottish Region has had its own website and it has now been given a makeover. The new design is aimed at keeping navigation as easy as possible but at the same time allowing access to all pages quickly. The site has been divided into two main sections, one detailing current activities and events, the other being the archives.
The archives, going back to the middle of year 2000 hold details of most of the events held since that time and show just how active the Scottish Region is. John Fender, who undertook this task said "This has been a major exercise in that all 300 pages have been rewritten. The website conforms to recognized international standards and I think visitors will find it easier to use. There has already been positive feedback from many people".
The website was given extensive testing and will "slowly evolve" over the next year or so rather than have any dramatic changes. User feedback is always welcome and comments can be addressed to the webmaster at the address on the "contact us" page.
