MSc. Award
The Institute is noted for its Annual Awards to individuals in the transport industry and particularly for its Scholarship in Logistics. At the February Meeting of the Central Scotland Group, Brenda Braga, 27, was presented with a cheque by David Reid, the Institute's Scottish Officer. Brenda, from Rio de Janeiro, is currently studying for her MSc. in Logistics & Supply Chain Management at Heriot-Watt University.
The award of a Scholarship in Logistics will greatly assist Brenda as she finds the cost of living in the UK much higher than in Brazil and the award will enable her to continue her studies without ongoing financial worries.
